The La Molina station and the Catalan Cycling Federation will host the RFEC Spanish Downhill Championships and the FCC Catalan Downhill Championship on July 18-20, 2025.

La Molina has stood out for its bike park and downhill routes, which has led it to position itself as one of the mountain bike destinations in Europe.

In this sense, it will also host, on the same route, the European Championships of the modality on August 1 to 3.

The Gobierno de España and the Generalitat de Catalunya lead the institutional support for the organisation of these championships.

The Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD), a body under the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport, the Conselleria d’Esports and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, agree that the organisation of these European Championships will reinforce the positioning of Spain and Catalonia as an ideal location for mountain biking and as a benchmark destination for cycling and mountain sports.
